Jennifer Nicholson has been serving customers for over 5 years at Bonifay Country Club—FMK’s festive beach themed restaurant. From helping to train new recruits, to serving her guests with a smile, Jennifer focuses on “serving people well and being a positive influence.”
FMK Restaurant Group’s dedication to community is one of its core values. So when the opportunity arose to help support the American Cancer Society with its annual fundraiser, the Cattle Barron’s Ball, they were happy to team up and offer support.
Tami Dion, a senior manager with the American Cancer Society, was thoroughly impressed with the way the FMK restaurant group stepped up to go “above and beyond; becoming a part of the American Cancer Society family,” during their efforts to promote and cater the Cattle Barron’s Ball. “We developed an ongoing relationship. You could tell it was much more than a contract to them,” Dion says of the FMK management and staff that she worked with to make the fundraiser such a success.
The signature fundraising event held on September, 24th, 2016 at the Savannah Center in The Villages, Florida, raised over $100k for the American Cancer Society. The money raised will help support awareness and community programs that help patients, survivors and families affected by cancer.
